Fantasy Football – Week 12

27, 36, 69 – Three numbers that made the Mobile Business monkey house roar with delight at the weekend. No, they’re not winning lottery numbers, they are in fact when the fantastic Didier Drogba scored against Watford, putting the ecstatic WebMonkeys top of the group, or so they thought…

…if it wasn’t for those pesky kids at Chatterbox.
Yes, it’s true. Just as everyone thought there was a new king of the Mobile Business Fantasy Football League, it turns out that the gap is now bigger than ever.

Not only did Nishil Patel’s Ace999 also have Drogba in the team, but he was the captain – doubling his score! 36 points from one player? It’s not right I tells ya.

So that puts Nishil well and truly top scoring 78 points, the highest this week, giving him 603 overall. Our very own WebMonkeys sit in second with only 564. Bah! At this rate it looks like we’ll actually have to give someone a prize.

Highest scorer this week (other than Ace999 of whom we shall no longer speak) was David Louis’s Webb Ellis Triers. His rugby themed team scored 67 taking them from 7th into 3rd.

Lowest scorer this week was Yvonne Culshaw’s Clockwork Orange with only 17 points keeping her in third from bottom. Methinks they might need winding back up.

Highest climber is our very own Sales Manager Danny Lack, with Athletico Danny. Scoring an impressive 66 points takes him from 24th up to 13th.

Furthest faller goes to Paul Leonard’s SprintSpurs, falling from 17th to 24th. The Tottenham fan may still be out celebrating their win over Chelsea a week and a half ago. C’mon Paul get over it.
