3M has named CNC as ‘3M UK Structured Cabling Installer of 2011’. CNC Managing Director Fred Rossington accepted the award at a corporate event hosted by George Buckley, 3M’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Horsham-based CNC has been installing the range of structured cabling solutions from range from 3M since 2002. Says Fred: “We are honoured to accept this award in recognition of our dedication to installing high quality structured cabling networks.”
CNC Ltd specialises in supplying and installing cabling and associated active equipment to support the diverse data and voice communication requirements of modern networks.

The company was established in 1993, providing a range of consultancy and installation services to the business-to-business market. CNC first started using 3M products for a challenging installation at Brighton University.

Says Fred: “Coupled with the smaller diameter Cat 6 copper cable that 3M supplies – which enables more cables to be run in any given trunking – I can be confident that the networks we install using the 3M range of products will meet both the required capacity and level of reliability expected by the most demanding customer. I believe 3M makes the best RJ45 termination in the market. The simple design mechanics give consistent quality and has the lowest failure rate in terminations compared to any other make I have tried.”
