AKJ Enjoys a Thriving 10th Year

2007 has been a highly successful year for telecoms billing specialist AKJ, which included their 10th year anniversary in March and increasing their team of staff to over 40.

During the year AKJ has been busy promoting its market leading e-billing solution to support resellers with their carbon reduction targets. Matt Atkinson, MD at AKJ comments “When organisations can increase profits by implementing sound environmental policies, you create a win-win situation. E-billing eliminates paper, printing and postal delivery from the billing process helping to reduce the carbon footprint of our resellers, whilst at the same time improving their profits and cashflow. We have a large number of customers already benefiting from our e-billing solution, and we are hopeful of rolling out e-billing to all customers during 2008.”

2007 also saw further deployment of AKJ’s services within Europe where their billing systems are now being used in seven countries with plans to implement in a further two over the next 6 months. In addition to long term solutions in the UK, France, Belgium and Spain, AKJ has now delivered further billing platforms in Switzerland, Sweden and Netherlands and they are currently working on systems for Germany and Italy.

AKJ also completed their 25th managed acquisition on behalf of a customer. Matt comments “We are proud to have reached this milestone – it is a fantastic achievement. At AKJ, we strive to provide much more than a billing system; our customers not only have access to the latest billing technology and services but more importantly gain a partner to proactively help them become market leaders”.

He concludes “2007 has been a great year for AKJ and we have big plans to build upon this success in 2008.”
