Excalibur Gains QMS Standard

Excalibur Communications of Swindon has gained the coveted and internationally recognized Quality Management System (QMS) standard, ISO 9001.

This latest accolade follows Excalibur’s best ever customer satisfaction scores. In awarding ISO 9001, the auditor’ report also stated that ‘relevant issues and risks and opportunities have been identified, and actions to address them implemented’ – and noted that ‘the infrastructure in terms of buildings and technology is modern and impressive – and provide an unsurpassed working environment. Use of cutting edge technology is a particular strength here’.

Excalibur’s CEO, James Phipps, commented “Gaining this powerful business improvement tool spells out just how much we want to succeed in delivering the very best in everything that we do”.

He added: “We look at any and every opportunity where there is room for improvement and more consistency. ISO 9001 will also enable us to continue to build a sustainable business”.

In the past two years, Excalibur has also won the top industry award for Best Unified Comms Dealer, achieved Investors in People, been accredited for being a Living Wage employer, and won the Business in the Community Responsible Business Award for creating long-term value whilst integrating sustainability issues most critical to its business.

In addition, Excalibur continues to be a major donor and fund raiser for charities, supporting numerous organisations and individuals in Swindon and the South West.
