Expanding beyond expectations

East Anglian telecommunications sourcing and advisory service DE Consulting has re-branded to reflect the growing range of services it offers to clients. Now known as Beyond Telecoms Consulting, it helps businesses benefit from advances in communications technology as well as giving a personal service beyond their expectations.

“When I started the consultancy nearly ten years ago,” recalls principal David Everett, “I specialised in offering cost savings on landline telecoms tariffs and line rentals. We soon realised that clients had many other needs – which were not being met by their existing suppliers.”

“Now, my partners and I are helping clients look beyond established communications technology, to take advantage of the vast array of new developments. These may seem totally bewildering at first, but when explained and implemented, can generate huge benefits, cost savings being just one of them.”

All new clients are offered a free audit of their current communications provision, which includes recommendations on how to save time and money. Beyond Telecoms Consulting also provides an independent advisory and sourcing service on telephone systems and hosted solutions, audio/video/web conferencing, inbound call handling, broadband services, and mobile communications.

“One of our greatest strengths, and the main reason why our clients stay with us for years, is that we give a friendly and personal service. We are willing to tackle any telecommunication-related task no matter how large or small. For example, if a line fault is not being cleared promptly, and the affected client doesn’t have time to chase the supplier, we will pursue it vigorously on their behalf until the problem is resolved. Or perhaps a client is planning to relocate to new premises. We will co-ordinate all the telecoms work to strict deadlines, in the build-up to the relocation,” says David. “We do our utmost to help our clients – and it’s a two-way relationship.”
