First Half Revealed by MTV Telecom

Convergence Summit Gold Sponsor MTV Telecom say they will be taking the opportunity at this years’ event to bring resellers up to date with the many product and application changes that have been developing over the past months so that channel partner can further exploit sales opportunities.
MTV Telecom has two stands at the Summit but is only revealing at this stage what they are showing on one.

Jim Robertson, Commercial Director, “On one stand we will be showing the award winning soft IPPBX Swyx. This includes the recently launched Version 6.0 along with the Swyx Connect, the latest addition to the product family which offers a low cost solution for either stand alone sites or the networked applications environment.”

Robertson says this year is proving to be an exciting year within the industry as new technologies make their mark and to this end MTV Telecom will be giving resellers the chance to see first hand how they can help resellers with a smooth transitional development to realising new market opportunities.

“The market place is eagerly awaiting the anticipated launch of what we believe is a revolutionary product – Quick Edition from Avaya. This is true ‘Plug and Play’ technology; just connect the phones on to the network and away you go – no CCU, no box on the wall. A must see!”

“With SIP now becoming the new buzz word in the industry come and see us find out all you need to know and how SIP can benefit you and your customers. This too is a real must as the Avaya Quick Edition, Avaya Version 4.0 IP Office, the new Siemens HiPath 2000 and the Alcatel OmniPCX will all support SIP Trunking.”

Robertson concludes by reminding visitors to the Convergence Summit that they should find out more about what Panasonic are doing.

“Panasonic has upped their game with the introduction of a new CTI software suite which includes the Phone Assistant Express and the Phone Assistant Pro and along with a very strong IP roadmap, Panasonic will definitely be a vendor for the channel to keep an eye on.”
