Video distributor Imago Group has announced a new international distribution partnership with Genee World, developer of ICT and AV solutions including visualisers, audience response systems, interactive whiteboards and touchscreens.
The partnership, which takes effect from the beginning of April, enables Imago to add to its growing portfolio of education and training tools, and will particularly complement Luidia’s interactive eBeam technology. Genee World specialises in ICT and AV solutions that aim to enhance presentation, training and teaching methods and its Genee and Genee Vision products are used every day in over 80 countries around the world.
Amongst its most popular selling products are Genee Vision visualisers, interactive whiteboards and LCD touchscreens, though Genee also develops a broad range of projectors and digital signage systems. The company has a commitment to providing solutions that will help to tackle the Government agenda for improving personalised learning and extending education into the community.
Peter Nice, Head of New Business at Imago Group, said: “Genee World has an established reputation in the education market for the quality and innovation of its products, and adding the Genee brand to our range strengthens our overall offer to schools and colleges. We are keen to expand in this sector, but also to identify solutions that will work equally well for corporate organisations and Genee World fits the bill.”
Imago will be marketing the Genee World range to its established network of resellers in the countries where it has subsidiaries, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Holland, Belgium, China and South Africa. In addition Imago will market to its existing dealer channels in most other Northern, Central and Eastern European territories as well as those in the Middle East.
Darren Murphy, UK Channel Partner Manager at Genee World, said: “We at Genee World are both excited and delighted to enter into this distribution partnership with Imago Group Plc. Their unparalleled growth in overseas sales, coupled with our own innovative technology and levels of support to the channel will serve to make this a very formidable partnership in terms of supply into both the education and corporate sectors overseas and here in the UK”
