murphx has improved service quality and increased resilience with the addition of a third “Super” PoP at Telehouse East in London’s Docklands.
The wholesale connectivity solutions provider already has network presence in five Docklands locations with two major PoPs located at Telehouse North and Telecity Meridian Gate.
These high-capacity data centres provide customers with the ability to gain direct access into the murphx backbone and are the hub of the businesses national service delivery. The investment is to support murphx’s continued growth and bolster its capability to deliver services such as co-location and IP transit.
Carl Churchill, murphx Director, said: “This investment at Telehouse East has been put in place to support our growth and commitment to bolstering our portfolio with additional network services such as 21CN and Ethernet connectivity.
“These points of presence are independent of each other and replicate the services and capacity held in the other locations. This means if we were to experience service-affecting issues in one location, there is always a second and now the third to ensure service continuity. For our customers, that means absolute peace of mind and confidence that murphx is working to bolster its already excellent levels of service.”
