Proximity Communications Plc has become the first TeleWare Partner to certify its skills to deliver the complete TeleWare portfolio with the addition of the new TeleWare Mobile network-based recording service for mobile devices.
Proximity Communications, a TeleWare partner since August 2009, has delivered a number of substantial projects using TeleWare communications solutions, including on-premise, hosted and managed services. The addition of the TeleWare FSA mobile compliance solution allows Proximity to help its financial services clients meet new Financial Services Authority (FSA) call recording regulations which come into effect on 14th November 2011.
“The addition of the TeleWare Mobile recording solution to our portfolio is the result of an extensive evaluation that examined the strengths and weaknesses of several approaches,” explains Stuart Legg, Sales and Marketing Director for Proximity Communications plc. “The solution has many clear benefits for organisations that have already invested in on-premise call recording with us and also enables new clients to meet the compliance requirements with the lowest capital investment and, crucially, with little impact to their existing call handling processes,” adds Legg.
Proximity will offer the TeleWare managed service to record and store mobile voice and SMS (short message service) traffic with no impact on the user call experience and without limiting the mobile’s functionality. The solution supports all handsets with calls and texts to and from mobile phones routed through, and recorded in, the TeleWare cloud-based network service. As there is no need for any software to be installed on the mobile device, delays in call connections and potential circumvention of recordings are avoided.
The recording solution needs only a simple change of SIM (subscriber identification module) to a TeleWare SIM to make the service instantly available. “We already have around 30 clients that we are actively engaging with to use this new solution as part of call recording and compliance projects,” explains Legg. “In addition, the fact that we already have a deep expertise in other TeleWare products enable us to create a complete end-to-end solution which we feel is a clear differentiator for us,” he concludes.
