Sales of weatherproof phones continue to shine bright for Nimans as the distributor extends its range to cover SIP installations.
Nimans has introduced network-based phones from GAI-Tronics which complement their standard connection devices – designed to perform even in the most challenging environments.
Nimans’ Head of Handset Sales, Ian Brindle, says the industrial-style phones are suitable for a multitude of locations from camp sites, golf courses and outside police stations to universities, shopping centres and even high profile sporting venues.
“GAI-Tronics telephones can be found in many different places including the umpire chairs at Wimbledon and also Wembley Stadium where stewards use them to communicate with the control room,” he explained. “They combine a high visibility presence with maximum durability, based on many weather and vandal resistant features.”
Brindle added: “The SIP telephones are available with metal and plastic bodies and span a variety of keypad options, from a single hotline to 15 buttons. This is a growing area of business for us which is opening up new areas of revenue for our resellers. Extending the range to SIP environments further boosts their growing appeal.”
