Telecoms expert unveiled as first Scottish re-seller for innovative cloud-based communications solution

Telecoms expert Exchange Communications has been named as the first re-seller in Scotland for the delivery of a cloud solution from BT Wholesale and Avaya that will enable businesses to significantly improve the customer contact experience.
The firm – headquartered in Kirkintilloch – will be responsible for supporting the provision of the versatile new ACS Select product, aimed at mid-market customers seeking cloud-enabled solutions to support their growth through a unified communications approach.
The Avaya cloud service is hosted on the BT Wholesale network, offering features from Avaya’s reliable IP Office and Contact Centre Select solutions.
Customers will benefit from an end-to end service, operational flexibility, customisation, hassle-free management, intelligent call recording, flexible connectivity and simple migration to the cloud.
Tom Sime, MD of Exchange Communications, said: “ACS select is a pioneering, cost-effective offering for mid-market businesses with the power to truly transform customer experience.
“It is able to support up to 3000 users in a single location and across 150 networked sites, enabling a complete solution and significantly enhanced contact offering for businesses.
“We’re proud to be working with global leaders Avaya and BT Wholesale delivering this innovative cloud based solution, providing real customer value solutions which enable businesses to deliver an enhanced customer experience.”
Exchange Communications – an Avaya Diamond partner - will host an open-day at City of Glasgow College Riverside Campus on Tuesday 12 December from 9.30am, where potential customers can hear about the new ACS Select offering, in addition to attending sessions on MiFID II and GDPR compliance.
Exchange Communications – which has offices in Glasgow, Aberdeen and London – was established in 1990, and has grown over 27 years to become one of the most successful and largest independent telecommunications companies in the UK.
