A recent survey by the Federation of Communication Services shows a total disregard for the ban on driving while using a mobile phone. The FCS survey of its members and industry stakeholders suggests the law has not been effective and the policing of it has been inadequate. A new penalty will be introduced later this year to give offenders an automatic three points on their licenses.
