finally announced the much-anticipated (and much-delayed) Q phone at the start of last month. Initially it’s US-only, indeed Verizon-only; the phone will appeal as a top-end consumer product in addition to the business market this Blackberry-like device is primarily targeting.

On the other hand, it is slightly hamstrung – it runs Windows Mobile 5.0, but it won’t ship with the MSFP update which enables wireless “push email” between the device and Microsoft’s Exchange email server. The Q is expected in Europe this summer, perhaps after the MSFP update.
