You can view and edit MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents wherever you are and the best thing is the formatting. The documents look like they would on the desktop because it can support charts and graphics.You can make edits and share it through SkyDrive or SharePoint.

TripIt – Travel Organizer
TripIt is great for frequent travellers as it makes it easier to organise and share travel itineraries. As you receive confirmation e-mails from the different services that you book with, you will need to forward them to plans@tripit.com.

Mint.com also creates a customised budget based on your actual spending. You can use the Mint app and website to track your bank, credit, loans, mortgages and retirement budgets. BillMinder
Every business has some form of recurring expenses. Billminder helps you track these expenses through the use of reports and comprehensive graphs. The bills can be synced between devices and alerts can be set for them. Billminder can also make recommendations on where you can save money. We all have this issue and many of you will be working in SMBs where having a reminder to pay regular bills would be extremely beneficial. Available for £1.49 for iOS and Android.
Fantastical
Fantastical is an iPhone calendar app that’s ridiculously easy to use. Besides keeping you organised, the app’s best feature lets you enter simple phrases, which it will then translate into a calendar appointment automatically.
For example you can type, “meeting with Ian Hunter, Comms Business” and Fantastical will automatically handle your request. Currently costs £2.99 on iOS.

This is not the first notes app we have featured and it probably won’t be the last. The app allows you to integrate your notes, calendars and to do lists in one place which is easy to use and reach. It’s great for keeping track of plans, thoughts and ideas. It synchronises with EverNote and iCal to be the one stop shop for everything a business owner or entrepreneur could need to keep track and plan ahead. Quip - Editors Pick
Quip is the new kid on the block which is pitching itself directly as an alternative to Office. It is a word processing app which can be used to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations. You can also use the app to collaborate on blog posts or even manager projects.
Quip is made by Facebook’s former chief technology officer. The app also syncs to a desktop version. Currently the app is free and only available on iOS
