The Vodafone partner is providing UCL with smartphones, including Apple iPhone 5s, but is already in talks regarding other parts of UCL’s communications estate. Abzorb currently offers a wide ranging set of products from fixed line products such as phone systems to Wide Area Networks.
Mike Walsh, MD of Abzorb, stated “Within our portfolio we have many national companies of a similar size to UCL, but in terms of revenue and further potential revenue opportunities this deal represents the biggest in the company’s history. Our strategy of organic growth continues to gain momentum, with current success in the public sector via our direct sales channel, complementing our ever expanding Abzorb Plus Partner Programme within our Indirect route to market.”
The Abzorb Partner Programme currently includes 350 Reseller partners and is expected to increase to 500 in the next year, the Partner programme offers a full range of Unified Comms products from mobile to data services on a white label basis.
