“Having proven that a partner-first channel strategy is an effective approach to serving our customers, we have connected with trusted partners and ensured that they have the tools and capabilities to be successful,” he said.
Andrew joined Quest nine years ago, via the acquisition of e-DMZ Security, progressively and consistently influencing the channel direction in EMEA by embracing large scale global system integrators that have made a significant difference to One Identity’s market position. In the last four years, Andrew has driven the One Identity channel strategy by establishing and growing the foundations of the One Identity Partner Circle, building a cohesive channel team across EMEA and establishing the One Identity UNITE conference as a key industry event for the One Identity partner community.
“Establishing conduits for our partners to interact – both inwards and outwards – have been key as we ensure our partners are kept up-to-date,” Andrew explained. “The One Identity Partner Pulse newsletter provides regular communications and the UNITE Conference gives an opportunity for partners to connect with us directly.”
Furthermore, Andrew has had a keen focus on growth through distribution, so to support him in his new role, former head of EMEA Distribution Partnerships, Jon Gillies has stepped up to the Channel Director, EMEA position. With a 20-year track record in forging successful partnerships and delivering revenue growth, Jon has been instrumental in the creation of a Go-To-Market model that underpins the One Identity Channel with strong distributor partnerships. In addition to continuing to drive this distribution strategy across EMEA, Jon will focus on accelerating the momentum achieved as a channel organization so far and steering partner preference for One Identity.
“I’m fortunate to have worked with Andrew for the last two years, so we are very much aligned in terms of the direction and strategy of our channel business in EMEA,” Jon said. “I look forward to the challenge of taking over from Andrew at a time of unprecedented growth for our EMEA channel business.
“We acknowledge and embrace the knowledge that our partners have a choice concerning who they select as their vendor partners, so it’s our job to make One Identity an attractive investment proposition,” he concluded.
