EpiGuard appliances function in concert with Apani’s current EpiForce security software suite to fully protect a network environment, regardless of operating system, platform, or application. The enhanced technology portfolio better enables resellers to maximise sales opportunities for PCI compliance, data encryption and segmentation.
“A lot of our top partners are excited about the Apani proposition, and have shared the view that the presence of some appliance-based solution options would open up more opportunity to get customer buy-in for evaluation and proofs of concept,” said Jason Dance, Sales Director at VADition, part of the Exclusive Networks Group. “Now that’s arrived, sales cycles can shorten and Apani can muscle in on more projects. Even though it’s still early days since taking them on in the UK on an exclusive basis, we can see a great business pipeline and the potential for lots more resellers to start getting involved.”
“Apani has made a successful global business as a software-only player, but the decision to introduce hardware form-factors into the market is going to turn-on more opportunities at the customer level and turn more heads among current and prospective reseller partners,” said Allen Wise, Managing Director of Apani’s European operations. “We’re strong in verticals such as finance, healthcare and ‘blue-light’, but we look forward to partners opening a lot more doors in new markets with our added deployment flexibility.”
