At Avaya's Partner Summit this month Avaya announced its integration with WhatsApp with a single API in their CPaaS platform to reduce complexity .
Ahmed Helmy, CTO of Avaya, announced the news to an excited audience and said "Would I give you a new feature in email or would I give you access to 1.5 billion users?"
The programme will be launched in February for beta testing and has been developed to remove back end complexity for partners looking at integrating the proposition within their customer base.
