Tuffs, who has more than 25 years telecoms experience in both direct and in-direct sales and management, joins Unify from Avaya where he held a variety of roles, including Director of the UK & Ireland Channel Team. During his tenure, Tuff was instrumental in the introduction of the iConnect Program, taking the company into the Mid Market sector.
Previous to this, Tuffs developed his career with leading companies in the Telecoms sector, including Cable & Wireless, Telewest and Nortel. He also spent three and a half years running his own business, Wire Solutions Ltd, trading as a BT Local Business.
In his new role, in which he will report to Thomas Veit, the Senior Vice President of Channel for EMEAR at Unify, Tuff’s remit will also include the acceleration of new cloud based partner programmes. These have specifically been designed to target the small and mid-market customer segment – an area Tuffs is very passionate about.
