As well as being a unique business support initiative for entrepreneurs and small businesses, the British Business Boost is also another aspect of Siemens Enterprise Communications’ GoForward! indirect sales support programme. Launched over a year ago, the programme recognises the importance of the channel in the developing telecommunications market.
The competition winner was Matmi New Media Design, a Cheshire-based company specialising in branded online and mobile gaming. Matmi beat off tough competition from nine other finalists at a special awards lunch in central London.
Leon Mangan, indirect channel sales director, Siemens Enterprise Communications, who chaired the competition judging panel said: “We know how important it is for small firms to keep ahead of the competition; how vital it is to have state-of the-art communications to achieve joined-up operations, dynamic collaboration and more flexible service capabilities. The British Business Boost is a reward for small firms, but also our dedicated resellers that work with them.”
Mark Casey, managing director, Marcom Communications, commented: “Small firms are the lifeblood of the British economy. As a Siemens Enterprise Communications partner, we are delighted to see them continuing their investment in business support and communications solutions for the channel and small firms with such an exciting initiative.”
