BTW’s Product Manager Doug Mansell announced a host of business-focussed features like guaranteed bandwidth and QoS, which will ultimately be available in 98% of BT’s exchanges. Backed by a much stronger SLA these products will eventually replace ISDN and compete with leased lines at the lower end of the market.
Andrew Dickinson, Sales & Marketing Director presented for Griffin and described how the ISP of the year had already invested heavily in their network in order to make broadband a more robust and feature-rich business product. Part of the portfolio of business products is Griffin’s MPLS IPVPN, which enables partners to link up customer sites with a mixture of broadband, private circuits and Ethernet.
Andrew commented; “There is a growing demand for multi-site broadband-based networks and our Partners need a differentiated product that they can easily white label, without the need for expensive technical resource and infrastructure. The bids our partners are currently working on have an average order value over £100k of recurring annual revenue and margins above 50%.”
