Increased demand for CHH’s flexible and smart connectivity solutions has triggered a series of investments with the business recruiting additional people to manage new projects across its warehouse and offices. This is in addition to investment in new warehouse equipment and bar code scanners which are used extensively in its Managed Services operations.
A significant enabler of the increase in turnover has been through CHH’s role in the UK Government’s smart meter rollout as part of its Managed Services provision. The company provided 850 custom-manufactured and integrated rack systems for the North of England and Scotland infrastructure build. Currently, CHH’s Managed Services capability enables field engineers to order their vital tools, consumables and protective equipment online, increasing the engineer uptime in the field and enabling a faster deployment of smart meters into our homes.
The company is also seeing sales increase in the rail sector, providing plug and play solutions, cabinet integrations and cable and loom assemblies as part of the industry’s push through the Rail Sector Deal to upgrade the UK’s aging rail infrastructure.
CHH has also recently launched its new Redi-Rack product range which offers everything from an off-the-shelf rack assembly through to a fully integrated cabinet tailored to the customer’s bespoke needs.
CHH CoNeX’s Sales and Marketing Director, Kevin Wilcox, commented: “We’re seeing increased demand for our managed services and cable assembly solutions across several sectors and we expect further demand as the business community gears up for 5G and even smarter telecommunications services. With a growing service portfolio, CHH is able to connect or integrate to an individual customer’s needs, making us the partner of choice for major infrastructure projects.”
