The role will see Andy implement significant strategic changes following MeetingZone’s acquisition of Atia Communications, while also developing third party channels for its range of unified communications (UC) services such as Microsoft Lync, WebEx and audio conferencing. Reporting to Patrick Jocelyn, CMO, Andy will also be responsible for growing MeetingZone’s channel partner programme by recruiting new partners in vertical market sectors.
“We’re at a really exciting time right now as we look to move beyond traditional audio conferencing, towards collaboration tools like Microsoft Lync – so it’s great to have Andy on board to help drive this effort,” said Jocelyn. “His appointment only strengthens our commitment to the channel. With his experience, he’ll bring a wealth of knowledge to our channel team as we continue to grow.”
Before joining MeetingZone, Andy’s held a number of senior roles at Siemens Enterprise Communications where he achieved volume growth through new business wins across voice, UC and managed services solutions, successfully growing its public sector division to become a recognised managed service provider. He’s also held roles at Gartner and Cable & Wireless.
“It’s great to work for an organisation that’s really passionate about communications and collaboration solutions in the channel,” said Andy Clark, channel director at MeetingZone. “Areas like UC have huge potential with the opportunity for high growth. The goal is to enhance our already strong partner programme that helps channel partners build brand through white-labelled offerings. I’m looking forward to being part of the team and getting hands-on in developing MeetingZone’s offering.”
