Cloud Gateway secures £1.5 million investment for NaaS market transition

Company also appoints Kline as CEO.

Cloud Gateway has secured a £1.5 million investment to speed up its transition into the network-as-a-service  (NaaS) market.

This successful fund raise reinforces Cloud Gateway’s position in the secure network connectivity solution market. With this investment, it will speed up its NaaS platform roadmap to help customers overcome the biggest challenges in managing modern network and security architecture. The company will also scale its sales and marketing efforts, broadening its reach into new markets, while strengthening its customer support capability.

Cloud Gateway works with organisations across healthcare, government and financial services, helping them navigate digital transformation. It provides services to organisations such as the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, HM Courts and Tribunals Service, Avon and Somerset Police, and one of the UK’s largest insurance companies.

Alongside this investment, Dan Kline has been appointed as CEO to lead the company through this next phase of expansion. Under his leadership, Cloud Gateway will build on its current technology-enabled MSP model to transition to a full service NaaS platform.

Kline has more than 25 years’ experience scaling businesses from early-stage startups to publicly traded companies.

With Kline’s appointment, Cloud Gateway co-founder, Justin Day, will move into the role of chief product officer. He will focus on ensuring Cloud Gateway’s NaaS platform meets current and emerging market needs.

“Cloud Gateway has always been about solving real-world problems with cutting-edge technology,” said Day. “I’m excited to dedicate my efforts to ensuring our platform continues to deliver transformative value to our customers.

“This investment is a testament to the strength of our vision and the incredible efforts of the entire Cloud Gateway team. It enables us to take bold steps toward delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers while setting new standards in secure networking.”

Kline said, “I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at such an exciting time for Cloud Gateway. With this investment and the incredible talent within our team, we are poised to drive forward our vision and lead the industry in delivering innovative, secure networking solutions.”
