The restructuring at Leicestershire based Voice Connect includes new roles for some of the company’s key personnel. Managing Director Stefan Olsberg, who helped set up the company in 1991, will be taking on the new role of Channel Distribution Liaison, working with telecoms resellers from across the UK telecommunications industry.
“Having run my own dealer network prior to setting up Voice Connect, I am looking forward to using this experience to ensure that we build productive and profitable relationships with all our Channel Distribution networks,” he comments.
Moving from the role of Channel Distribution Manager, Steve Wrightam will be assuming the position of Commercial Manager, overseeing the development of future Voice Connect products. Sarah Sanders is to take on the role of General Manager, organising day to day operations at the company.
“The communications industry is constantly changing due to new technologies and it’s important that we move with those changes, both in the way that we work and the new products and services that we develop,” comments Stefan. “We have now organised our team to work in the most efficient way, which will benefit both customers and staff.”
One of Voice Connect’s most successful products is their automated telephone appointment booking system known as Patient Partner, which is installed at over 600 GPs’ practices in the UK. The company has also developed products such as VC Relay, a mass communications tool used by police, local authorities and NHS trusts and VC Lone Worker, which offers increased protection to vulnerable staff working alone or in the community.
