The award was presented by Microsoft’s Unified Communications EMEA Voice Team at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) which took place in New Orleans, USA. Damovo is one of Microsoft’s top 10 partners world wide for Unified Communications and the ‘Rocked the World’ award is a reflection of the company’s success in delivering Unified Communications projects over the last financial year.
Mike Parton, chairman and chief executive officer of Damovo Group, commented: “Receiving the award is a great accolade for us and we are very proud of the success we have had in showing and delivering the benefits of Unified Communications to our clients. Supporting fixed and mobile voice, data and desktop applications is increasingly important in today’s ever-converging world, and Microsoft will definitely be playing a significant role across this spectrum with its Unified Communications offering both now and in the future.”
Damovo is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and earlier this year extended its Unified Communications portfolio to include availability of Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Release 2 (R2). This latest release includes dial-in audio conferencing, desktop sharing, and persistent group chat. It also has enhanced mobility features, allowing users to communicate using presence, IM and voice as an extension of their PBX, from a unified client.
