Demand for Cloud Service Provision Sees Flexiant Triple in Size in Six Months

Since the successful launch of its Cloud Orchestrator software six months ago, Flexiant has tripled in size to support service providers using its platform for the on-demand, fully automated provisioning of cloud services.

George Knox, CEO, Flexiant said, “Flexiant is experiencing growth because without cloud orchestration, the benefits of cloud cannot be fully realised. Flexiant is able to provide the software necessary for service providers to gain significant cloud compute market share. As we continue to grow, it is important that we have the right staff to support our customers and their business.”

As part of Flexiant’s market growth strategy, the Company has made a number of significant appointments in recent months including the addition of Len Kaminski, vice president North America, Jim Foley, vice president market development, Ger Burns, vice president service delivery, Ian Horley, director of business development, Nordics, Brian Garvey, director of distribution and channel and Beata Gonzales Blanco, director of business development, Southern Europe.

Joining the team as vice president of North America, Kaminski will be responsible for developing key US partnerships and raising the profile of Flexiant in his territory. He has over twenty-five years of international experience in the IT sector where he has worked in the IT consulting, equipment and service provider businesses for companies such as Nortel and BT-Infonet, now part of BT Global Services.

Foley will lead market development at Flexiant. With almost 30 years experience, he takes on responsibility for the strategic direction of Flexiant propositions as well as global marketing. Foley has the remit of ensuring Flexiant is clearly differentiated and that market growth is achieved.

Burns is responsible for the support and service operations at Flexiant as well as the professional services team. She is working to ensure the Company is offering and meeting high service level agreements and performing against those objectives. As part of her remit, Burns is also advising service providers of ways to improve their business’ public cloud offering.

From developing the business strategy and acquiring new customers to supporting existing service providers in the region, Horley will see the expansion of Flexiant in the Nordics. He will also utilise his knowledge of the telco sector to take primary responsibility for initiatives in this space.

Garvey joins after seven years at Rackspace working on cloud partnership and alliances across EMEA as well as helping clients build private OpenStack Cloud Infrastructures. In his new role, he will help expand Flexiant’s distribution and channel opportunities for the service provider market.

Beata Gonzales Blanco joins as director of business development to establish Flexiant’s distribution channels across the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe.

Frazer McKenzie has joined as sales operation manager while Joseph Sherman and Lindsay West have joined the market development team as digital marketing manager and marketing executive respectively. Glen Totten joins the service delivery team as a technical consultant.

Flexiant has also continued to make critical appointments in the software development teams. New hires include Gordon McAllister, Guangjie Feng and Aqeel Aslam.
