Elite Launches 30-Day Contracts for FTTC

Elite Limited has today announced its release of a 30-day contract for FTTC connections purchased for their Channel Partners and Wholesalers.

In a statement, Matthew Rogers, Elite's Head of Marketing & Business Development, said; "By taking the option to offer our partners and Wholesalers a back-to-back service to what we receive, it will enable them to offer their clients more flexibility to upgrade to different products if the customer requirement outgrows the physical service. It will also empower Partners and Wholesalers to put in a higher bandwidth temporary solution if any other product delivers are hindered by delays or their installation timeframes are longer than expected."

FTTC is historically seen on 12-month contracts since its release, but due to market feedback requesting a more flexible broadband solution and ongoing pressure by Ofcom, FTTC contracts have now been downgraded to 30-days.

The contract change with Elite will be seen on all new FTTC 40/10 and 80/20 orders placed from today's date, as out of contract Fibre Broadband products are already on 30-day terms due to Elite's "No auto-renewal" policy that it has with its partners.

This change is following on from Elite's re-designed and improved control panel which has seen Partners and Wholesalers have fully automated Broadband and Ethernet ordering facility with powerful diagnostics tools to enable full ownership of on-site issues.
