Epson is already global and EMEAR market leader in volume share, commanding a 35 percent volume share of the Pro AV market. Following new data released by analysts Futuresource, Epson is now 6.4 percentage points ahead as value market share leader for EMEAR.
Epson now commands a 31.1% value share of the EMEAR Pro AV market; and whereas its nearest rival experienced a 18.7% decline in value share over the last three successive quarters, Epson has demonstrated continued robust growth with an increase of 4.2%.
Neil Colquhoun, vice president CISMEA and professional displays, Epson Europe, says: “These latest results confirm that Epson is the leading projector Pro AV brand in both volume and value share for EMEAR. We are also the only leading manufacturer that has consistently grown its share in this market, an outstanding achievement, when just seven years ago we began as a new business from a position of virtually no share.
“Epson’s growth is thanks to our unique 3LCD technology, reflecting our commitment to delivering innovative solutions based on customer insight. We believe Epson is now taking share from substitute technologies with creative installations such as immersive experiences in museums, projection mapping and, with our newest technology LightScene, in digital signage.
“I’m particularly pleased at our results in rental and staging where our customer insight told us that the market wanted a simplified range of 4k lenses to minimise inventory and maximise productivity. We responded and by the summer we will have projectors from 5500 lumens to 20,000 lumens all with a single range of 4k resolution lenses – a truly unique offering the market demanded and Epson delivered. We look forward to growing our share further with significant launches this year including our 20k lumen, 30k lumen and 12k lumen 4k native models.
“I would like to take the opportunity once again to thank all our customers, we value them so much and look forward to continuing this journey together.”
