Continuing, "Although Rocom will operate as an independent business, it will benefit from a broader offering from the blending-in of the AT Communications product and service portfolio. This will be deployed to our dealers benefit. We are busy producing a closely guarded document, a charter that will spell out our commitment to the channel, the specific benefits to partner resellers and the service levels we will be judged by".
"In the meantime, one aspect we are able to share is the hugely enhanced engineering resource that we are able to place at our dealers’ disposal. The acquisition increases our engineering resource from 30 to almost 150 engineers. It is our intention to offer this resource to our dealers as an outsourced capability. This offering, alongside our new dedicated data division will provide core elements in our support package – all aimed to keep our dealers informed, skilled and able to make the best of every opportunity in the increasingly converged comms landscape".
Rocom will be exhibiting for the second year in a row at The Convergence Summit and will be showing a new product called SiNet which is a complete hosted telephony communications solution.
