Has Facebook just hurt its prospects in the business market? The social networking giant has just experienced its largest outage ever with all related services (including Workplace) affected. The outage lasted 14 hours and saw much of its 2.3bn users unable to post or share content.
The world can cope without seeing pictures of my latest meal, but what dies this mean for business users who rely on the service for internal communications and collaboration?
I'm expecting the big comms vendors to be inundating my inbox shortly as they spot an opportunity.
The stark reality is Facebook has a job to convince the business world it is worthy of their core comms. The latest fiasco will no doubt furnish salesmen who sell against the giant for the rest of 2019.
Stay tuned for more updates on the situation...
