The course, billed as ‘probably the toughest event on the planet’ on the Tough Mudder website, included electrocution, rivers, fire, an ice-filled plunge pool, walls and a lot of mud, severely testing the stamina of the team, competing as ‘Bandwidth Bandits’.
But the amount raised for charity, and the camaraderie among the team was worth the effort, says Fluidata MD Piers Daniell: “This is the second year we’ve taken part. Thirteen of us did it last year, and amazingly more of the team wanted to get involved this year.
“The team spirit kept us all going through months of training, and we’re looking forward to the next big challenge, whatever that might be.”
The team completed the course in three hours, and was the biggest company team to compete in the challenge.
