Focus Group snaps up Entropie

Focus Group has announced it has acquired Entropie, a Buckinghamshire-based provider of voice and data solutions, in its eighth acquisition of 2024.

The company is continuing to execute its buy-and-build strategy after securing new funding from Hg in April. Last week, Focus Group bought Cellular Solutions.

Entropie’s established base in Milton Keynes will help to bolster Focus Group’s presence in the central regions.

Tom Jones, who leads mergers and acquisitions at Focus Group, said, “It’s been an incredibly busy year for Focus Group and we’re delighted to be sharing more positive news.

“Entropie is a business that has all the characteristics we look for when we’re on the acquisition trail – reputation, solid performance, similar product set with high-recurring revenues and a customer-centric approach – so we’re delighted to welcome the team on board.”

Hetan Mistry, managing director, Entropie, added, “After 24 years of building Entropie into a respected leader in our industry, we are thrilled to embark on the next chapter of our journey.

“We are confident that joining Focus Group represents the best path forward for our future. Their track record of success assures us that they are the ideal partner to help us continue our legacy of excellence.”
