FullFibre has announced that its wholesale FTTP network in Shrewsbury is now accepting customers.
Dan Jones, national build director of FullFibre, said, “We recognised that building to Shrewsbury would be a challenge, especially given the amount of network builders in the area. But with our build rate and our highly skilled engineers, we have certainly risen to the occasion.
“Connecting Shrewsbury is a landmark achievement for us at FullFibre and one that we will build upon.”
FullFibre aims to connect 500,000 premises by 2025. This announcement follows the recent expansion of the company’s plans into a fourth build region, as well as the company’s networks going live in Ross-on-Wye, Leominster, Bayston Hill, and Wem.
