Prizes were given to the best team score, best individual score, nearest the pin and longest drive. The winning team, who included Kevin Tyler and Joe Eldridge from Alliance Communication Solutions, Howard Elkins from Lion House and Mike Mills from Gamma Telecom, swept up on the day with best team score, whist Kevin Tyler took the best individual score and Howard Elkins won nearest the pin.
After a three course meal, the evening’s entertainment began with 5 tables of Texas Hold ‘em poker. The first hour was played with buy-ins, raising the prize fund to more than £1000 and then the knock out competition began. By midnight the final table was down to just four players, and after a close battle, Ralph Gilbert from Focus 4U came out on top.
Wayne Lester of Lake Technologies said “We had a great day on a cracking golf course and a fantastic evening of poker with Gamma and their channel partners. Well done Gamma for a really organised and enjoyable day and thanks for providing a good platform for some useful networking.”
