Giacom has announced it has acquired Inform Billing, a provider of billing solutions for resellers and MSPs.
Inform Billing’s solutions will be integrated into Giacom’s Cloud Market, with the acquisition expanding Giacom’s suite of efficiency and scalability applications for channel partners.
The acquisition will add new intellectual property in advanced business intelligence and analytics tools to Giacom’s billing capabilities.
Giacom said this will strengthen its mission to offer a complete, agnostic toolset that enables partners to operate more efficiently across multiple suppliers and deliver the best solutions for customers.
Terry O’Brien, CEO, Giacom (pictured), said, “We’re thrilled to welcome the Inform Billing team to Giacom. As SMBs increasingly seek strategic partners for all their technology needs, our partners have a tremendous opportunity to accelerate their growth by becoming a one stop shop.
“Our goal is to make it easy for partners to become that trusted advisor, monetise new services quickly, and scale efficiently. The addition of Inform Billing’s expertise strengthens our Cloud Market Tools ecosystem and provides partners with deeper insights into their revenue streams, supporting growth in both revenue and profitability.”
Shaun Bodsworth, founder and managing director of Inform Billing, added, “Joining forces with Giacom presents a unique opportunity to combine our solutions with Giacom’s Cloud Market Tools.
“With our combined expertise, we can deliver unparalleled service and support to partners. This partnership also brings substantial investment that will accelerate the R&D of our solutions, enabling partners to benefit even more from advanced business intelligence and revenue analysis.”
The acquisition will also bring benefits for Inform Billing customers, who will be able to access Giacom’s Cloud Market Tools suite. Tools is a comprehensive business process management offering that streamlines operations across quoting, provisioning, billing and self-service.
Giacom's billing capabilities have been transformed by previous acquisitions, with technologies from Aurora and Union Street feeding into the company's current offering.
