The dinner was attended by 150 guests at the Pennants Lounge of Blackburn Rovers Football Club and raised in excess of £5,500 for the charity. H4H was co-founded by ex-serviceman Bryn Parry and his wife Emma, and launched in October 2007 with the aim of providing better facilities for British servicemen and women wounded since 11 September 2001.
Martin has been Account Manager for Union Street in the north of England for over two years and is a passionate supporter of the H4H cause. Having previously served in the armed forces, Martin is acutely aware of the sacrifices made by our service men and women and the challenges faced by wounded veterans.
Martin comments, "It truly is a privilege for me to be able to help such a worthwhile charity and we're delighted that this event has proven to be such a success. The work carried out by H4H is vital and makes a real difference to the lives of many veterans that have been wounded in the service of our country. We hope that H4H can continue its fine work in the future, and look forward to supporting future events."
