Highlight has announced significant achievements during 2024 as network observability continues to be a key focus for businesses in their drive to provide comprehensive and efficient IT services that support and enhance business growth.
The Highlight platform has experienced a 230 per cent increase in monitored SD-WAN estates over the past 12 months. Both MSPs and enterprise are using Highlight to extend their service and visibility into LANs, to deliver more value. Highlight also increased the number of Wi-Fi access points across its customers by 600 per cent.
Highlight’s advanced API integrations with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki and Cisco ThousandEyes enable seamless onboarding, often activating large national or worldwide estates in a few hours. This strategic advantage of combining complex data from multiple sources, standardising it and then presenting it in an easily understandable and sharable format is a key factor in Cisco recognising Highlight with its prestigious Partner Innovation Challenge Award and a $100,000 cash prize.
Highlight has also expanded its geographic footprint, strengthened by its Cisco and Meraki partnerships. Over the past year, the company’s new business pipeline outside of the UK rose from 5 per cent to 40 per cent, and includes regions such as New Zealand, Australia, South America, the US and Canada.
Richard Thomas, CEO and founder of Highlight, said “We’ve had an exceptional year and we anticipate a further 20 per cent revenue growth this coming financial year to May 2025. We’ve increased revenue whilst keeping our costs under control, so as a SaaS business our profitability grows very quickly as we expand. In the current financial year, we’re projecting a 55 per cent increase in earnings (profit) over last year.
“Much of this success is due to the supportive ecosystem partnership with Cisco and the Meraki team. They have consistently demonstrated enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to collaboration. They value their partner network and foster innovation, helping both us and their broader ecosystem to thrive.
“Going forward, we will continue to expand our integrations with Cisco technologies, building on our existing Meraki, Catalyst and ThousandEyes relationships, to offer deeper flexibility for deployment, support and management of Cisco-powered networks and services. Our growing influence and expertise in leveraging Cisco technologies enables businesses and MSPs to manage Cisco-powered networks with greater agility and helps them to succeed in an increasingly competitive market.”
