Imerja Reports Soaring Revenues

IT
Bolton-headquartered IT solutions specialist Imerja has celebrated its tenth birthday with record revenues and profits.

A focus on growing multi-year support and managed service contracts saw sales grow to £6.3 million and profits increase by 43% on the previous year. With over 50 full time employees based across its Bolton, Market Harborough and Elstree offices, the company has also implemented an apprenticeship scheme for students in the local areas.

Ian Jackson, managing director and co-founder of Imerja said: “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved over the last ten years, and to break both revenue and profit records is a fitting end to the decade. Looking at our renewals and new business pipeline I’m confident we’ll be celebrating another strong year in 2015.

“To think that the company has grown from an idea originally discussed over dinner to delivering award-winning services and achieving record turnover in its tenth year is very satisfying, and a credit to everyone that has worked hard and supported us on the journey.

“Longstanding customer relationships we have developed across the public sector, coupled with a broad portfolio of household names in retail and other sectors, have enabled us to build an enviable client base, an achievement which I am very proud of.”

Imerja has made great strides with its Video-as-a-Service (VaaS) offering which helps to improve access to specialist care, enabling healthcare professionals and patients to communicate remotely through the use of state-of-the-art high definition video technology, regardless of their location.

Ian continued: “VaaS is a great example of what can be achieved when a company focuses on innovation, finding creative ways to apply technology to help address important challenges customers face – something we have always strived to deliver. Whilst VaaS is a service that we hope will continue to make the company more profitable, it is also important to us to be providing a service that helps improve people’s lives, as well as deliver efficiency savings into our overburdened health service."
