Research group Ovum estimates that IP Centrex and hosted Voice over IP (VoIP) revenues will hit £3.4bn worldwide by 2008, and Inclarity has seen sales soar since the turn of the year.
“SMEs may have been exposed to VoIP through either using crude consumer editions of IP telephony or have read about the benefits of VoIP in the media, but some offerings are simply not suited for business use,” explained Paul Anthony Beaumont, COO of Inclarity.
“We’re looking for partners to help educate the market as to the benefits of VoIP and why a secure, business-grade IP telephony system is the only way to truly capitalise on internet telephony,” he continued. “The benefits of lower cost of ownership and the flexible working options VoIP offers will give resellers ample opportunities to generate new business and recurring revenues.”
Inclarity’s IP Centrex service was recently enhanced with the launch of a new roving IP telephony service that enables business travellers to significantly reduce call costs by up to 75 per cent. roamPhone, which works by providing travelling executives with PC telephony software running on top of a secure roving internet access service, enables calls to be made to any number worldwide for the cost of the broadband connection alone.
The company also specialised in IP Centrex services and even provides satellite broadband to remote areas of the Middle East and Africa.
