Irepli Mobile Search set for autumn launch

Innovative mobile search company, irepli, has announced it intends to set a new industry standard when it launches its search platform for the mobile phone to the consumer in the autumn of 2009.

The company has developed its own unique search technology, which will provide consumers with the most relevant, accurate results for their personal searches, based on location, time, date, search history and individual preferences.

irepli mobile search software is available pre-installed or as a download via the irepli website directly to handsets. Once irepli search software is launched, the consumer is immediately presented with the irepli interface, a clear design with a single entry field. Search can be initiated either by keying in or voice and the user’s current location is automatically detected. Speed of use is another key irepli innovation, with search time down to approximately 3 seconds. irepli’s service can be used on both GPS and non GPS handsets, ensuring accessibility in all locations.

irepli has a ‘One Question One Answer’ ethos, believing short succinct local results on the mobile screen to be the most effective solution for mobile search. The company believes greater usage will be stimulated by providing the most relevant answer to a given query, without the consumer being frustrated by a deluge of irrelevant results.

This method is highly appropriate considering lack of mobile screen real estate and the fact that the consumer is likely to be on the move. At the same time advertisers have a direct way of reaching those consumers with highly targeted offers.

irepli CEO Tim Mason stated: “irepli aims to become the preferred search engine on mobile handsets by 2010. We have spent the past couple of years developing our technology to the highest level and we are focused on retrieving accurate, relevant content with actionable, local results anywhere and any time. Consumers want direct answers to specific questions. irepli technology will provide them with this.”
