The network checker will provide pricing for the property to connect to one of their ultrafast networks. The results that include a location map are shared with the partner so that they can keep a copy for their records or add it into a proposal for their customer to help them to close more business.
Lisa Harding, Head of Strategic Partnerships said, “This is a fantastic tool that enables partners to quickly generate prices, service availability and check the location of their customers in relation to our wholesale networks. We wanted to make the pricing and availability checking as easy and as transparent as possible for approved partners to get this information. We reached out to some of our key partners to ask and understand what are the most important aspects they look for in a wholesale partnership. We quickly learnt that the market needs the ability to retrieve an accurate quote swiftly and efficiently which is why we developed the postcode checker. This is just one of the many initiatives that we are launching this year to support our growing partner channel.”
Partners will be able to access Layer 2 local, national and Layer 3 prices for FTTP connectivity across all of ITS’s wholesale networks, starting with London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, Bristol, Nottingham and Hereford. ITS will be adding further geographical networks to the network and pricing checker over the next few months. The linking up of the regional networks into a national wholesale network will also provide further flexibility and savings for partners as they can choose where they peer.
