Jabra launches Bluetooth headset for retail shift workers

New headset aims to help workers stay connected, informed and ready to assist customers.

Jabra has launched Jabra Perform 75, a Bluetooth headset designed for shift workers in retail environments.

Jabra Perform 75 aims to help retail workers stay connected, informed and ready to assist customers more effectively.

The Perform 75 provides handsfree access to information. It includes a dedicated button that integrates with Push-to-Talk capabilities delivered directly by the handheld device. By pressing the button, users can solve queries and problems, while continuing their tasks such as staffing the checkout and stocking shelves.

The built-in Bluetooth connection enables access voice-led apps — including AI-driven applications such as virtual assistants that provide real-time, voice-activated information retrieval. The device is also compatible with platforms from Microsoft, Zebra Technologies, and Zello.

Perform 75 operates reliably in temperatures from 60°C to –30°C and its robust IP65 rated design also resists high humidity and dusty conditions, ensuring a reliable performance in extreme conditions.

It also features Jabra’s microphone noise cancellation technology to block out 99 per cent of background noise, such as construction work or a busy shop floor during sales peak season.

Its modular design can also help with shift transitions through the use of interchangeable components including headbands, boom arms and swappable batteries. This allows workers to quickly assemble headsets.

The charging station keeps the battery ready, while an organiser stores spare parts, reducing downtime and making equipment management easy. This modular approach offers a cost-effective solution for shift-based teams.

Andrew Doyle, VP for frontline workers at Jabra, said, “The modern retail environment demands agility and knowledge from associates to meet rising customer expectations. We’ve channeled our expertise and worked closely with our Alliance partners to build a solution for the retail sector that enhances efficiency and customer service. The Jabra Perform 75 provides hands-free access to information and seamless communication.

“By integrating with existing frontline worker applications, it empowers associates to work smarter, improve customer experiences, and adapt to the fast-evolving retail landscape. This is the kind of innovation that bridges the gap between operational efficiency and exceptional service.”

Jabra Perform 75 will be available for distribution from mid-January.
