Jola appoints new chief architect

Jola has announced it has promoted Joseph Kirk to the role of chief architect.

In his new role, Kirk (pictured) will be responsible for software architecture, strategy, and development. He will report directly to Adrian Sunderland, the company’s CEO.

Kirk has worked at Jola for over a decade. During his tenure, he has held numerous key positions, most recently as software development manager.  He has driven innovation, improved systems and enhanced the user experience.

He commented, “I look forward to managing and developing our cloud infrastructure and software to meet partner requirements, now and in the future.”

Adrian Sunderland, CEO, Jola, explained that two Jola vendor partners – Robustel and ZoHo – have recognised Kirk for driving innovation.

Sunderland added, “I have worked with him for many years. I am confident in his ability to deliver unique solutions, which are easy to manage, save customers money and generate healthy recurring margins for our partners.”

This latest appointment follows the appointment of Ben Merrills as Jola’s CTO, announced last week.
