As well as hosting the day, The STIG spent one-on-one time with our Partners sharing his fascinating racing stories; from his days at Top Gear to his James Bond stunt driving antics and gave each racer a thrill ride with him at the wheel in the Le Mans JP-LM Palmer Jaguar at top speeds.
Competition was fierce with some impressive driving skills which were celebrated at a prize giving ceremony that evening, awarding everything from driving skills to racing etiquette. The STIG was generous to present winners with signed gifts to celebrate and commiserate with.
The STIG was gracious: “It was as fun as ever putting KCOM’s guests through their paces around Bedford’s Aerodrome for the Fastest 4 event and everybody lived up to the high speed challenge. There were plenty of smiles and white knuckles from my passengers."
“It’s great for the team to spend time with so many new Partners to learn how we can serve them better and to see many familiar channel faces again and again at this event. We couldn’t have asked for a better day,” said Henry West, head of channel sales at KCOM. “In fact, the sun blinded me behind the wheel and that’s my excuse for not getting a better time on the track!”
