The move follows the expansion of the enterprise segment of KCOM’s business with overall revenue growth of 5% and its top five customer contracts growing by 16% over the previous financial year. New business wins and expanding relationships with existing customers in the provision of IT and integration services, particularly in the cloud professional services and contact centre markets, are responsible for the growth.
The new starters will work across KCOM’s public cloud architecture and integration teams and its contact and collaboration practice, which guides enterprises on how to update their legacy contact centres with the latest communications tools in the cloud.
Phil Offord, sales director for enterprise at KCOM, said: “Bolstering our sales team is crucial to generating growth from KCOM’s enterprise opportunity. This strengthened team will be working with existing customers and developing new relationships with public and private sector organisations embarking on a digital transformation journey."
KCOM EVP Stephen Long said: “The influx of talent into KCOM’s enterprise team signifies our ongoing commitment to bring our no-nonsense expertise to organisations looking to update their customer experience technology, ensure robust and secure connectivity and take advantage of the public cloud via one full service IT provider.”
