Luminet owns its own core and wireless 400Sqkm London network, which enables delivery of its services. It has invested multi-millions of capital into infrastructure with the world’s top technology companies, transforming itself from a wireless business broadband ISP, to an intelligent managed services provider.
Luminet has experienced phenomenal growth in recent years – its average revenue growth rate is 24% per annum and EBITDA has grown 16% YoY (Year on Year) to circa £1.1 million.
Luminet has refocused its strategy on market execution with the launch of its partner programme at the end of 2016. This was then followed by the unveiling of its new automated portal, which enabled its wholesale and reseller partners to instantaneously order services and get quotes.
Sasha Williamson, CEO, Luminet: “Our target when we unveiled the launch of our partner programme was to sign 400 partners by end of 2017. Having already agreed 140 partnerships, with many more in progress, we are well on the way to hitting our target. We have spent a long time developing our proposition to enable our partners to drive unparalleled revenues and increase margins. With our differentiated connectivity and compute products and our partners customer expertise, we have a surefire recipe for success that will enable us to have our best year to date.”
Earlier this month Luminet announced that it had sold its 28GHz spectrum license to Arqiva. Divesting the spectrum was a strategic business decision for Luminet as it enhances its focus on wholesale and its intelligent connectivity and computing services.
Luminet also announced that it has become one of the first registered partners of the Connect Westminster Scheme, the newly launched Connected Voucher Scheme in that helps cover up to £2000 towards an SMEs one-off connection charge within Westminster and the West End Partnership area.
