Mark Riddell to retire after 15 years at Abzorb

Abzorb has announced that Mark Riddell is stepping down from his position as head of channel.

The provider of mobile, connectivity, and communication solutions said Riddell’s retirement marks the end of an era for both Abzorb and the channel. He has helped to shape the industry including leading the shift from upfront commissions to revenue share models.

During his tenure, Riddell (pictured) built the channel for Abzorb from 23 to over 200 partners. He also bought onboard international partners and nurtured partners that help them grow into large enterprises.

Steve Beeby, managing director, Abzorb commented, “Mark was known for his exceptional sales and networking skills and his ability to effortlessly connect with all people. He will be deeply missed by both his colleagues and the partners.

“We will be sad to see him go, and I thank Mark for his dedication, hard work and commitment he showed during his time at Abzorb. I wish him and his family all the very best for a long and healthy retirement in Italy.”

Abzorb is appointing a new head of channel and will make an announcement in due course.
