The new offering, based on Gemini’s HyperScale technology, allows mBlox to put forward a highly scalable, next generation MMS platform and service that enables thousands of content providers to exchange multimedia content with subscribers throughout the world.
mBlox acts as the intermediary between content providers and mobile operators, managing the delivery and billing for mobile content and services. Gemini Mobile’s HMC software will enable the gateway to deliver multimedia content via MMS. Gemini’s infrastructure messaging software delivers a proven record of reliability to handle multimedia messages and is designed to scale as mBlox grows its customer base.

mBlox will soon begin rolling out its MMS product in North America and will offer the service in European markets later in 2009.
