The pocket-sized device from VoIP specialist Yealink combines the functionality of a soft phone with the additional convenience of a portable memory drive. In addition a built-in sound card is combined with stereo earphones whilst no external power supply is required.
Gary Redshaw from Nimans’ Purchasing team, confirmed: “The USB-M3K is a small and light USB memory stick phone which allows users to take softphone account information, contact list and chat history with them anywhere, working as both a VoIP phone and memory drive. The pre-loaded softphone can auto-run on any PC without any additional installation once it is plugged into a PC USB port.”
He added: “This is real plug and play technology which is ideal for anyone who needs VoIP when travelling - even for use in internet cafes, as it is both secure and convenient. It can also prove useful in a disaster recovery situation – maintaining voice communication for staff by enabling them to work from home or away from a main site if there is a system issue.”
The device retails at £34.50 inc VAT.
